1937 Ford 2 Door Hump Back
1937 Ford 2 Door Hump Back Body: My 1937 Ford 2 door sedan hump back has 350 hp chevy V-8 engine. It has less than 5,000 miles on the motor. Body all metal. With stock 1937 Ford body, all steel. All fenders and under carraige is under sealed. The motor was built complete, with special racing head, and was balanced and set at builders shop. Equipted with new carborator polished, generator polished, all upper part of engine is also polished. New electronic ignition, new fan belts, spark plugs, wires, new air conditioner, new stereo with cd player. Transmission was completely gone through w/ shift kit added. Front end, Mustang, independent rack and pinion. Mustang rear end gone through completely. Rear end has adjustable coil overs. New stainless gas tank. Power windows, front and rear, power seat that moves forward and back, also has cup holders front and rear. Hood is filled in and welded and surfaced. All holes, are welded and surfaced. Hidden hinges, gas tank hole is filled with flipper cover. Trunk lid, all holes are filled and welded as well as trunk straps. At bottom of trunk in lower cawel area is cut out for license plate to set in with flipper lid on license plate. Polished aluminum and steel wheels in front and 16" in rear. Both running boards new — all metal. Car has new taupe carpet complete. Seats, taupe leather with french stitching across and around gages in dash area also taupe leather on dash. Paint: Car was stripped to metal by sandblasting, primed with pea green ppg primer. Then surfaced and painted with 2 part paint — base coat, and 2 layers of clear coat. Then paint was wet sanded, buffed and polished. Paint in 2 tone — dark wine on the top and light wine on the bottom both metallic. Not to many 1937 Ford Hump Back sedans with stock body, (not like the pushed out grill on front end of the fiberglass body) in the prestine condition of this one.
